Email the Director-General of the BBC: Oppose Israel's participation in Eurovision The number of people who have sent emails so far: Fill out your details below: First name * Last name * Your email * Address * Address 2 Town * Postcode Subject Dear Tim Davie,Israel should not be involved in Eurovision.Children are starving to death as Israel continues to block vital aid from reaching people in Gaza. Only a few days ago, Benjamin Netenyahu said that the Israel Defense Force would enter Gaza with “full force”. Given the genocidal onslaught over the past 20 months, it is frightening to even contemplate what “full force” would look like. The majority of people here abhor Israel’s actions and they should not be able to whitewash its crimes in Gaza through a significant cultural event such as the Eurovision Song Contest. We believe that the BBC should reflect the public opposition to Israel’s ethnic cleansing in Gaza in its actions within the European Broadcasting Union.Public broadcasters in Iceland, Spain and Slovenia have already stated their opposition to the inclusion of Israel in Eurovision, and people are organising hard to make RTE do the same.We do not believe that Israel should be allowed to participate in Eurovision, and we hope that the BBC will adopt the same view. I urge you to contact the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and state that the BBC does not support Israel's involvement in the song contest. To show you're an actual person, what is 5 + 2 ? * I’d like to be emailed to let me know how taking this action is having a positive impact on people’s lives and how I can support more people-powered campaigns at Act Now.
